Trimatic Torque Converters:

Ex-factory there were unique Torque Converter for each Holden Engine.  The Stall point of each Torque Converter was unique to that Engine's Power and Torque.

Six Cylinder Torque Converters:

The Six Cylinder Torque Converter uses a seperate Locator to position it correctly in the Crankshaft. The Six Cylinder Torque Converter comes in 2 forms.

Pre-Commodore Six Cylinder Torque Converters:

These are bolted to the Starter Plate by 3 Nuts and Bolts and were used on late HG - HZ and Toranas excepting UC's.

Commodore Six Cylinder Torque Converters:

These are bolted to the Starter Plate by 3 Bolts only. The Torque Converter has the Nuts welded into the Torque Converter because the Full Bellhousing doesn't allow access to fit seperate Nuts. These were used on UC, VB, VC, VH, VK and WB.These Torque Converters can also used on earlier Six Cylinder Holdens with Half Bell Housing Trimatics like HG - HZ as well as pre-UC Toranas.

V8 Torque Converters:

These are deeper in dimension than Six Cylinder Torque Converters and have a permanent Locator welded to the front of the unit.
