[edit] Securing the Vehicle:
It is imperative that the vehicle be prevented from moving while any work or oil level checking is carried out on a Trimatic. Chock the wheels, pull the handbrake on and place the Gear Lever in Park.
[edit] Parking:
When a Car fitted with a Trimatic is parked the Gear Selector must be placed in Park. No other Gear will prevent the Car from rolling once the Engine has stopped.
