1.9:

The 1.9 Engine is considered to be a 173 with 2 cylinders missing. These were fitted to UC Torana's, VC, VH Commodores and some locally assembled Toyota Coronas.

Engine Specs:

4 Cylinders
Bore 3.500"
Stroke 3.00" 1900cc's

Bolt Pattern:

These engines have the same Bellhousing Bolt Pattern as all grey, red, blue or black Holden 6 Cylinder Engines.

Terms Of Endearment:

Starfighter, Startafire, Starfrier, Starfriar, Backfire, Bonfire, Firestarter, Farsighter, Forestfire. These were described as a 173 (2850) 6 with 2 cylinders cut off it.
